Creating Scheduled Delivery Slots for Your Store

Offering scheduled delivery slots enhances your customers' shopping experience by allowing them to choose a delivery time that suits their schedule. This article will guide you through enabling and configuring scheduled delivery slots for your online store.

  1. Activate the Advanced Delivery Methods Plugin:

    • Go to the Ordrio dashboard.

    • Navigate to the "Plugins" page.

    • Find the "Advanced Delivery Methods" plugin and click "Activate."

  2. Configure Advanced Delivery Method Settings:

    • Once activated, go to the plugin's settings page.

    • You'll find options to configure:

      • Standard Delivery

      • Express Delivery

      • Schedule Delivery

      • Prebooking

  3. Enable Schedule Delivery:

    • In the plugin settings, locate the "Schedule Delivery" option and toggle it on.

  4. Configure Delivery Slots:

    • After enabling scheduled delivery, you'll be taken to a configuration page (refer to the screenshot below for reference).

    • Here, you can define the available delivery slots for your customers.

    • Consider factors like your delivery capacity, peak hours, and customer preferences when setting up slots.

    • Select the name for the slots (e.g., "Morning Delivery," "Afternoon Delivery").

    • Differentiate slots according to timings (e.g., "9:00 AM - 12:00 PM," "1:00 PM - 5:00 PM").

    • Set the maximum number of orders that each slot can take.

    • Add multiple slots in a day to accommodate more customers.

    By customizing your scheduled delivery slots, you can create a more flexible and convenient delivery experience for your customers.
