GST & Invoice Setup – Quick Guide

Welcome to Ordrio! This guide will help you seamlessly configure the GST/Tax features and ensure your invoices comply with Indian regulations.

Get your Indian tax and invoice settings in order with these easy steps:

  1. Access Settings: Click the gear/wrench icon (⚙️) at the top right of your Ordrio dashboard.

  2. Tax & Invoice Options: On the next page, find and click the "Tax and Invoice" icon.

  3. GST Setup:

    • Enter your organization's GST Number (GSTIN) in the designated field.

    • Add the relevant tax percentages for your products/services.

  4. Invoice Template Customization:

    • In the "Invoice Template" section, design your store's invoices to your liking. You have two options:

      • A4 Template: Ideal for standard letter-sized printing.

      • Thermal Template: Perfect for compact receipt printers.

    • Customization options include:

      • Invoice Heading

      • Invoice Prefix (e.g., INV-)

      • Next Invoice Number (starts from this number)

      • Store Details: Name, Address, Contact Information

      • Invoice Notes (additional information)

      • Store Logo

  5. Preview Your Invoices: Before you finalize, use the preview feature to see how your A4 and thermal invoices will look when printed.

  6. Some products may have unique tax rates. In the "Create Product" section, you'll find an option to specify a custom tax rate for each item. Simply enter the applicable percentage (e.g., 5%, 8%). If you don't enter a rate, Ordrio will automatically use the default tax rate you've set up in your general settings.
